Adrian Stephan

[Adrian in his office]The very nature of a logistics business requires a visionary with a wide range and depth of experiences.

Adrian Stephan has that experience, as well as the necessary skills and qualifications.

Adrian is currently the Managing Director of Logistics Pty Ltd, a company that specialises in asset support strategies and plans.

He has over 40 years of hands-on experience in integrated solutions for equipment and asset maintenance, through life product (logistics) support, life cycle cost, spares, reliability, risk, safety, configuration management, and their management systems. His all round practical experience base includes hydrocarbon, hydro generation, primary production, defence, and rail industries. With his qualifications and very wide range and depth of experience, he is well equipped to offer organisations interested in effective asset management and preservation of plant integrity, a valuable insight into the techniques, strategies and tools available to plan and increase the protection of their investment.

He holds, in addition to other qualifications, a Masters Degree in Management from Monash University (thesis topic was TPM), a Graduate Diploma in Management from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, and is a Certified Professional Logistician. He has also holds the Certificate in Workplace Training and Competency Assessment.

He is also a PhD by research candidate with the University of Western Australia.

He teaches reliability engineering by distance learning through Monash University and has taught project management with Chisholm Institute.

His professional and community interests include: Past President of The International Society of Logistics (SOLE), involvement on the SAE G-11 Committee on RCM, Member of the Maintenance Engineering Society of Australia (MESA), member of Standards Australia, and actively involved in Rotary with a special interest in literacy and fresh water sustainability. He is also a regular contributor of technical papers to the International Committee of Maintenance Societies (ICOMS) through MESA.
