We are very conveniently located in the township of Boonah in South East Queensland with quick and easy access to key business areas in the region as well as interstate and international connections.

I like to simplify complexity and our website reflects that principle. The website information aims to provide you with useful information. Our business aim is to provide useful, rational and simple solutions with the minimum of fuss.

The website will be undergoing regular updates as we introduce new services and other features (particularly as my html skills improve!). You should revisit the site regularly to catch up on any changes.

We do a lot of very interesting work across different industries. We are happy to discuss our work with you to the limit that our clients allow us to do that.

We are always looking for ways to deliver our work more cost effectively. We can provide our services electronically if you wish. Depending upon the nature of the work a short visit may be required.

We subscribe as a supplier to the Asia Pacific Utilities Group APUG. If you are in the utilities industry we would appreciate the opportunity to supply our services to you.

We are also keen to support our local community and see that as an important part of our business. For example, we often have students from the local high school on Work Experience.

Our Culture

Who we are

Logistics Pty Ltd (LPL®) is an Australian owned company incorporated in April 1987 to provide a one-stop shop for all your logistics needs. The company was formed to provide coaching, mentoring, consulting, training, and education services to industry. Over the years we have also been a major provider of integrated logistics support software to the Australian defence industry and related products to commercial organisations. Generally, our assignments include: logistics analysis and related tasks, maintenance planning, life cycle cost, configuration management plans, and training seminars in Australia and overseas on logistics. Our fundamental goal is to raise the skill level in all aspects of the integrated logistics process, and help organisations implement the means to achieve the skills commensurate with their needs.

Our Logo

Our logo is a stylised Nyquist plot. This is a control systems graph that represents a system in control over a wide range of variable amplitudes and frequencies. It reflects what we strive to be and to provide to our customers and community.

Our Products

Logistics is a broad term with many facets, and so are our services. We now provide only coaching, consulting and training services and no longer deal with software. We also offer a comprehensive maintenance support design and redesign service for those organisations requiring cost effective support methods for their specific needs. If you are involved in any aspect of the design, production, or support of a product it will need logistics products. As part of our involvement in logistics education, we have developed several courses on logistics related products for several leading tertiary institutions.

In particular, we specialize in engineering asset support strategies and plans and their impact on people and organisations. In addition, we want to help organisations account for the cost of owning, operating and maintaining their engineering assets.

Our customers

Our customers include a wide mix from commercial industries such as petrochemical, renewable energy, rail, mining, education, utilities; as well as defence contractors. Our client base includes Australian and overseas organisations.

Our record

Our strength is our desire to move forward to develop new systems and resolve challenges. We like to create futures rather than reinvent history. We understand that unless organisations are careful they will be caught in time-locks by still trying to develop processes using old methodologies. We are agile and flexible to the rapidly changing needs to support people, organisations and assets.
